Title 15 › Chapter 110— ONLINE SHOPPER PROTECTION › § 8404
Violating this law or any rule under it counts as breaking a rule under section 18 of the Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C. 57a). The Federal Trade Commission will enforce the law the same way it enforces that Act, with the same powers, methods, and duties. Anyone who breaks the law faces the same penalties and gets the same privileges and immunities as under the Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C. 41 et seq.). This does not limit any other legal authority the Commission has.
