Title 15 › Chapter 113— CONCRETE MASONRY PRODUCTS RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND PROMOTION › § 8708
Federal district courts can enforce this law and stop people from breaking it or any order or rule made by the Secretary. Any civil case brought under this law must be sent to the Attorney General of the United States. The Secretary can fine someone up to $5,000 for each intentional violation. Each violation and each day someone keeps not following an order counts separately. The Secretary can also order the person to stop. Before issuing a fine or stop order, the Secretary must give notice and a chance for a formal hearing. Those orders are final unless the person appeals to the proper federal district court. These remedies are in addition to any other legal remedies.
