Title 15 › Chapter 118— SUSTAINABLE CHEMISTRY › § 9304
Agencies running the program may help form partnerships across the chemical industry by giving money, technical help, or other support. These partnerships can set up joint work on sustainable chemistry research, testing, moving new technologies into use, and training. Training can include making or approving college and professional courses and telling people about those courses to recruit students and professionals. To get support, a partnership must include at least one private company. When picking partners, agencies must look at whether applicants can show they back the goals in the strategic plan and the report in section 9302. Money from the program cannot be used to fund or grow a state chemical regulatory program, to build or renovate a building, or to push or trash a particular product, process, or technology.
