The Under Secretary must work with other federal agencies to create policies, plans, and program goals for the programs under part B of subchapter I and subchapter III. They must set up regular performance checks and reports to see if goals are met, and evaluate how federal help for socially or economically disadvantaged business concerns is working. They must review all proposed federal training and technical assistance tied to those programs to avoid duplication and keep things consistent. They must also hold coordination meetings with the heads, or their designees, of agencies whose programs affect carrying out this chapter.
