Title 15 › Chapter 120— MINORITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT › Subchapter VII— ADMINISTRATIVE POWERS OF THE AGENCY; MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS › § 9593
Recipients of assistance must keep records the Under Secretary requires. Those records must show six kinds of information: the amount and type of help received; how the recipient used the money; the total cost of the project; how much of that cost came from sources other than the Agency; the return on investment as the Under Secretary defines it; and any other records needed for an audit. The Under Secretary, the Inspector General of the Department of Commerce, and the Comptroller General of the United States, or their authorized representatives, may access the Agency’s or an MBDA Business Center’s books and materials for audits, investigations, and examinations.
