Title 16 › Chapter 24— CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF NORTH PACIFIC FUR SEALS › Subchapter III— ENFORCEMENT › § 1171
The government can seize any vessel under U.S. control that is used to break the rules in this chapter. The boat and its gear, clothing, fittings, cargo, and supplies can be taken. Any fur seals or parts taken or kept in violation of these rules, or their money value, can also be seized. Rules that govern seizing, selling, and handling vessels under the customs laws apply here too, as long as those rules fit and do not conflict with this chapter.
