Crater Lake National Park in Oregon is created to protect ancient volcanic features like Crater Lake and forest, fish, and wildlife. The boundary is the area on map 106–80–001–A (dated March 1981) filed with the National Park Service; lands inside the park formerly in a national forest are removed from that forest and its boundary revised.
