§1340 Joint Report to Congress; Consultation and Coordination of Implementation, Enforcement, and Departmental Activities; Studies

Summary

The Secretaries of the Interior and Agriculture must send Congress a joint report after thirty calendar months following December 15, 1971, and every twenty‑four calendar months after that. The report must summarize how the chapter is run, enforcement and other actions taken, costs, and any recommendations for laws or other steps. They must consult and coordinate their departments and carry out any studies of the habits of wild free‑roaming horses and burros they think are necessary.
