Title 16 › Chapter 32A— REGIONAL MARINE RESEARCH PROGRAMS › § 1447e
Boards that get a grant must, within 2 years after their plan is approved and every 2 years after that, send a report to the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. The report must describe research findings in the region, suggestions to improve marine‑protection programs, and the available information about the region’s ecosystem health. When those administrators receive a report, they must send a copy to the Committees on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and on Environment and Public Works of the Senate and to the Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries of the House of Representatives.
