§157c Boundary Revision; Acquisition of Lands and Interests; Authorization of Appropriations

Summary

The boundary of Big Bend National Park in Texas is changed to include the lands shown on the map titled “Big Bend National Park, Boundary Additions”, map number 155/80,019–A, dated June 1980. That map is kept for public viewing in the local National Park Service office and the Washington, D.C. office. The Secretary may acquire those lands by donation, purchase with donated or appropriated money, or by exchange. Lands owned by the State of Texas or its local governments may only be acquired by donation or exchange. Up to $1,500,000 may be appropriated for land acquisition.
