§192b–3 Acquisition of Lands

Summary

The Secretary of the Interior can get land or land rights by donation, by buying with Federal money, or by other means. The land will be used to build an eastern approach to the park. The area is in the Sixth Principal Meridian, Township 5 North, Range 73 West. It includes parts of Sections 27, 34, and 35—some parcels south of the current Highdrive Road right-of-way and others north and west of the left bank of the Big Thompson River—adding up to about 145 acres. It also includes a strip of land averaging no more than 500 feet wide that runs about one and six-tenths miles from near the center of Section 25 to that 145-acre tract.
