Approximately six acres described in two recorded deeds are added to and made part of the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park in Kentucky. The first deed is dated June 15, 1945, from J. R. Howell and Mattie Johnson Howell and W. L. Ferrill and Minnie Ferrill, recorded June 25, 1946 in Larue County deed book 58, page 262. The second is a quitclaim deed from Carl J. Howell and Dorothy N. Howell, recorded April 18, 1947 in Larue County deed book 59, page 435.
