Title 16 › Chapter 44A— ANTARCTIC MARINE LIVING RESOURCES CONVENTION › § 2431
Lets the United States carry out the Convention on the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources. It says the treaty creates rules and duties to protect Antarctic sea life, uses an ecosystem-based way to keep species and the whole marine environment healthy, supports U.S. environmental and peaceful cooperation goals, depends on U.S. research, and notes the need for U.S. icebreaking ships to work in heavy Antarctic ice.
