Title 16 › Chapter 1— NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter XXXI— CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK › § 273
Creates Capitol Reef National Park from the lands, waters, and interests inside the boundary shown on a map called "Boundary Map, Proposed Capitol Reef National Park, Utah" (No. 158–91,002), dated January 1971, except for valid existing rights. That map must be kept on file and available for public inspection at the National Park Service, Department of the Interior. Ends the Capitol Reef National Monument and allows any money that was for the monument to be used for the park. Federal lands or waters removed from the monument by this law will be managed by the Secretary of the Interior under the laws that apply to U.S. public lands.
