Title 16 › Chapter 52— SALMON AND STEELHEAD CONSERVATION AND ENHANCEMENT › Subchapter III— RESOURCE ENHANCEMENT › § 3325
Allows money to be spent to improve salmon in two areas. Up to $45,000,000 is allowed for the Washington conservation area and up to $25,000,000 for the Columbia River conservation area for the ten-year period starting October 1, 1982. The money can pay for salmon work, including running and maintaining enhancement facilities. Also allows up to $7,000,000 for steelhead projects for each of those areas for the same ten-year period. None of the money may be used to operate or maintain programs or facilities exactly as they were before the Secretary approved the enhancement plan for that area under section 3321.
