Title 16 › Chapter 56A— PACIFIC SALMON FISHING › § 3637
It is illegal for people or boats under U.S. authority to do six things about these fishing rules. They cannot break the rules or any regulations made under them or under the Treaty. They must allow an officer who enforces the rules to board a fishing boat for a search or inspection. They cannot physically attack, resist, intimidate, or interfere with an officer during a search, inspection, or a lawful arrest. They cannot move, sell, buy, import, export, or keep fish that were taken or kept in violation of the rules. They also cannot help someone avoid arrest if they know that person broke these rules.
