A USDA employee who sees a possible problem with a conservation plan while giving on-site help must, within 45 days, tell the people responsible what actions are needed instead of filing a violation report. The responsible people must try to fix it quickly, and if it’s not fixed within 1 year the Secretary may review compliance.
