The Secretary of the Interior may accept land given free inside Mammoth Cave National Park. He can keep leases that came with the land if he approves them and they do not last longer than the lifetime of the person who granted the land. He may also lease park land to prior occupants—people for their lifetime or organizations for up to 20 years (renewable at his choice). He may accept land with reserved rights‑of‑way or easements.
