The land in New Mexico that was called the Carlsbad Cave National Monument before May 14, 1930, and that was created under the Act of June 8, 1906 and by a presidential proclamation of October 25, 1923, is made a national park named Carlsbad Caverns National Park for the public’s benefit and enjoyment. Under that name it may receive and use any funds that were or will be appropriated for the Carlsbad Cave National Monument.
