Title 16 › Chapter 1— NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter LI–A— NATIONAL CONSTITUTION CENTER › § 407aa
Provide money and support to keep teaching about and preserving the history of the U.S. Constitution. Congress noted that 1987 was the Constitution’s 200th anniversary, that federal, state, and local groups held events then, and that those events included important education programs. It also said those programs should continue so people can learn how the Constitution shaped the nation, and that National Park sites protect key places in that history. Congress will provide three things: resources to create a national resource center for ongoing Constitution education; exhibits and an archive about the bicentennial; and interpretation of the Constitution at relevant National Park sites.
