The Secretary of the Interior may transfer, for the United States, a part of Independence National Historical Park (Project B) measuring 15,650 square feet, give or take, at the northeast corner of South Fifth Street and Marshall Court (formerly Manning Street) in Philadelphia to the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia in exchange for property the Authority owns of approximately equal value that the Secretary finds necessary for park use. Land given away will stop being park land, and land acquired will become park land and must follow the park’s laws and rules.
