Title 16 › Chapter 61— INTERJURISDICTIONAL FISHERIES › § 4106
After consulting with the States that get money under this chapter and with any interstate commission running a project, the Secretary must send a report to the Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate. The first report is due no later than 90 days after the end of fiscal year 1988, and then every two years after that. Each report covers the two fiscal years that ended before it is filed. It must describe every project and law-enforcement activity that received funds; say how much the Federal Government and each State spent on each item; assess whether each project or enforcement action is furthering the chapter’s purposes; and list all funds set aside under section 4104(a) that are available to a State or the Secretary but have not yet been committed.
