The Secretary must set up an Advisory Commission of no more than fifteen people to advise on making and carrying out a new or updated management plan for the Mojave National Preserve. Members must include an elected official from each county with any part of the preserve, a nearby private landowner representative, and others for grazing, mining, and relevant scientific and park-protection expertise. The Secretary must fill vacancies to keep a full range of views. The commission must follow Chapter 10 of title 5 rules and ends ten years after it is formed.
