Federal agencies that do or support work that directly affects the park or preservation district must talk and work with the Secretary and the Commission. They must try to coordinate their actions, follow the park’s standards and rules, and avoid harming park resources. No federal agency may give a license or permit for activity inside the park or district unless it finds the activity follows those standards and will not harm the park’s resources.
