Biscayne National Park is created in Florida to protect a rare mix of land, marine, and amphibious life for present and future generations to learn from and enjoy. The park boundary is shown on the map titled "Boundary Map, Biscayne National Park" (map no. 169–90,003), dated April 1980, on file at the National Park Service. The Secretary must publish the detailed boundary in the Federal Register within one year after June 28, 1980, and may make minor revisions after reasonable written notice to the House Natural Resources Committee and the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee by publishing a revision in the Federal Register.
