Summary

Money may be provided to record oral histories and to preserve, explain, teach about, and run visitor services at the park. An exact $1,000,000 is allowed to buy and care for park artifacts, and more funds may be used to acquire the properties listed elsewhere in the law. None of the money may be used to operate, maintain, or preserve the vessel S.S. RED OAK VICTORY.

(a)(1)There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to conduct oral histories and to carry out the preservation, interpretation, education, and other essential visitor services provided for by this subchapter.
(2)There are authorized to be appropriated $1,000,000 for the acquisition and curation of historical artifacts related to the park.
(b)There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to acquire the properties listed in section 410ggg–1(e)(2) of this title.
(c)None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this section may be used for the operation, maintenance, or preservation of the vessel S.S. RED OAK VICTORY.
