Title 16 › Chapter 1— NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter LIV— EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK › § 410r–3
The Secretary of the Interior may accept from the Farmers Home Administration (USDA) a transfer of about 4,420 acres located inside Everglades National Park in Dade County, Florida. The land is described in a master deed dated December 21, 1962 (case No. 61C–3823, recorded in Dade County official records, book 3494, page 457) or in any later change to that deed. The transfer can only happen after the Farmers Home Administration’s emergency credit revolving fund is fully repaid for all costs it paid related to that land. The Secretary may accept the transfer when the United States holds clear title to the property.
