The Secretary must study archaeological areas that were added to the park and nearby land. The studies must check whether the park’s borders include the land needed to protect the important archaeological sites. The Secretary must study Spruce Hill Works, Harness Group, and Cedar Bank Works, and may study other sites important to Hopewellian culture. If any of these places are recommended for addition to the park, the Secretary must report those recommendations to Congress.
