Federal Highway Administration must work with the Georgia Department of Transportation to make sure rebuilding the I‑85/I‑75 expressway over Auburn and Edgewood Avenues and the Edgewood interchange limits harm to the Martin Luther King, Junior, Preservation District. Where feasible, Auburn overpass changes should widen supports and allow under‑bridge business or recreation. The National Park Service and other federal agencies must send any building or land‑use plans in the district to the Atlanta Urban Design Commission for timely review and comment.
