Makes it a crime to on purpose destroy, damage, remove, or deface monuments, statues, memorials, fences, railings, enclosures, protective or decorative works, trees, shrubs, timber, battle relics, or any earthworks or defenses on battlefield grounds. Cutting down or taking timber, relics, or trees is allowed only with permission from the Secretary of the Interior. If someone is convicted in court for any such act, they are guilty of a misdemeanor and must pay a fine of not less than $5 and not more than $100 for each offense.
