The Secretary can get land or rights in land inside the park boundary by gift, by buying it with donated money or federal funds, or by trading other land or rights. Gifts of land are allowed only if they come from the State of Mississippi (including its local governments), the State of Tennessee (including its local governments), or the organization called "Friends of the Siege and Battle of Corinth."
