Land acquired under section 430kk must become a public park called Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield for public use. The National Park Service, led by the Secretary of the Interior, must run and protect the park under the National Park Service Act of August 25, 1916, and build and maintain roads, trails, signs, buildings, and visitor facilities.
