About 15 acres are added to the Booker T. Washington National Monument. The area is shown on a map called "Boundary Map, Booker T. Washington National Monument, Franklin County, Virginia" (BOWA 404/80,024), dated February 2001, and that map is kept at National Park Service offices. The Secretary of the Interior can get the land from willing owners by donation, by purchase with donated or appropriated funds, or by exchange. Any land added must be managed as part of the monument under the normal laws and rules.
