When the United States owns enough land to be a unit under secs. 459g–459g–7, the Secretary must publish a Federal Register notice establishing the seashore with a map or description of boundaries, as nearly as possible covering the area in section 459g. A copy must go to the Speaker and Senate President 30 days before publication. Subject to secs. 459g–459g–7 and 459g–1, the Secretary may then acquire the remaining lands and interests within those boundaries.
