The Interior Secretary may transfer land bought for the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Secretary of Agriculture for use as national forest when he thinks it serves the public and the Agriculture Secretary agrees. Those lands become national forest and must follow the laws that apply to lands acquired under the Weeks Law of March 1, 1911 (36 Stat. 961), as amended.
