Title 16 › Chapter 1— NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter XCI— HELLS CANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA › § 460gg–3
Protects the right to use the waters of the Snake River and its tributaries above the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area for any useful purpose now or in the future, whether the water is used up or not—examples include household, city, livestock, irrigation, mining, power, and industrial uses. It also bans imposing any required river flow below Hells Canyon Dam under the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act or rules made under that law.
