§460hhh–2 Establishment

Summary

Creates the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area in Nevada, subject to valid existing rights. It covers approximately 316,000 acres of federal land in the Toiyabe National Forest as shown on the map titled "Spring Mountain National Recreation Area—Proposed", NV–CH, dated August 2, 1992. As soon as practicable after August 4, 1993, the Secretary must file that map with the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the House Committee on Natural Resources. The map must be kept for public inspection in the office of the Chief of the Forest Service. If the acreage number and the map disagree, the map decides the boundaries.
