Create the Ozark National Scenic Riverways to protect scenic, natural, and historic places and to provide public outdoor recreation. This includes keeping parts of the Current River and the Jacks Fork free-flowing and protecting springs, caves, and wildlife. Use the area shown on map NR OZA 7002 (December 1963). The area may not include more than 65,000 acres of private land or any land within two miles of Eminence or Van Buren, Missouri. With the State’s agreement, include Big Springs, Alley Springs, and Round Spring State Parks and negotiate their donation into the Riverways.
