The Secretary must allow hunting and fishing on lands and waters he manages inside the Buffalo National River, as long as people follow federal and state laws. He can set specific places or times when hunting or fishing is banned for public safety, park administration, wildlife management, or to protect public use and enjoyment. Except in emergencies, the Secretary must talk with the Arkansas Fish and Game Commission before putting those rules into effect.
