§460mmm–5 Maps and Legal Descriptions

Summary

Secretary must send Congress a copy of the Map and a legal description of the Conservation Area and the Wilderness promptly after October 24, 2000. The Map and descriptions count as part of the law, but the Secretary may correct clerical or typographical mistakes. Copies must be available to the public at BLM offices (the Director’s office; the Grand Junction District office in Colorado; and the appropriate Colorado and Utah BLM offices). If the Map and the descriptions conflict, the Map controls, subject to section 460mmm–4(l)(3).
