Creates the Sonoita Valley Acquisition Planning District so the government can buy important conservation land in Arizona. The district covers about 142,800 acres in Pima and Santa Cruz counties, including the named Conservation Area shown on a map dated October 2, 2000. Soon after December 6, 2000, the Secretary must send Congress a map and legal description. If the two maps conflict, the October 2, 2000 map controls. Copies will be kept for public viewing at the Bureau of Land Management and its Arizona office. The Secretary may fix clerical and typographical errors.
