Creates the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area in Cochise County, Arizona to protect the river’s riparian zone and nearby public‑land resources. It includes about 56,431 acres shown on map AZ–040–OZ (dated January 1988). As soon as practicable after November 18, 1988, the Interior Secretary must file that map and a legal description with the House Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs and the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources; the filed map will have the same force as law and be kept for public inspection at Bureau of Land Management offices.
