The Secretary must create a San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area Advisory Committee to advise on making and carrying out the long-range plan called for under section 460xx–2. The committee will have seven members chosen by the Secretary. Members normally serve three-year terms, but the first group will include two one-year terms and three two-year terms. One member must come from names given by the Governor of Arizona, and one from names given by the Cochise County Supervisors. The other members must be experts in areas like wildlife conservation, riparian ecology, archaeology, paleontology, or related fields.
