§460y–3 Procedure for Establishment

Summary

The Secretary must set up the Area only after at least ninety calendar days have passed since two things happened. He must have sent copies of the required program to the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Governor of California, and the governing body of the county or counties where the Area is located, and he must have published a notice saying he intends to establish the Area in the Federal Register and in at least two newspapers that circulate generally in the Area.
