About 66,280 acres of public land in Mesa, Montrose, and Delta Counties, Colorado, are now called the Dominguez Canyon Wilderness Area. The area is shown on the official map and is part of the national system that protects wilderness. The Secretary must manage the area under the Wilderness Act and these rules, with two changes: any mention of the Wilderness Act’s effective date means March 30, 2009, and any mention of the Secretary of Agriculture means the Secretary of the Interior.
