Summary

After March 30, 2009, the Secretary must file a map and a legal description of the Conservation Area and the Wilderness with the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and the House Natural Resources Committee. Those filed documents count as part of the law, the Secretary may fix clerical or typographical errors, and the documents must be available for public inspection at the appropriate Bureau of Land Management offices.

Title 16, §460zzz–3

(a)As soon as practicable after March 30, 2009, the Secretary shall file a map and a legal description of the Conservation Area and the Wilderness with—
(1)the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate; and
(2)the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives.
(b)The Map and legal descriptions filed under subsection (a) shall have the same force and effect as if included in this subchapter, except that the Secretary may correct clerical and typographical errors in the Map and legal descriptions.
(c)The Map and legal descriptions filed under subsection (a) shall be available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.
