Secretary of Agriculture may sell merchantable timber on land added to Siskiyou National Forest, following the rules for selling public timber in national forests. All money from sales must go into the U.S. Treasury’s "The Oregon and California land‑grant fund" and be used as the Act of June 9, 1916 (ch. 137, §10, 39 Stat. 222) directs; the land counts as part of the area returned under that Act.
