The Secretary of Agriculture may allow cutting and selling sellable timber from lands added to the Rogue River National Forest by the Act of June 4, 1936 (chapter 494, sec. 1, 49 Stat. 1460) if the Secretary finds it will not harm water purity or reduce the water supply. All sale proceeds must be paid into the U.S. Treasury to the “The Oregon and California Land Grant Fund” and used as section 10 of the Act of June 9, 1916 (39 Stat. 218) directs.
