Title 16 › Chapter 76— NORTHWEST ATLANTIC FISHERIES CONVENTION › § 5606
Makes it illegal for people or vessels under U.S. jurisdiction to break rules made under this law or measures the U.S. agreed to under the Convention. It also forbids refusing to let authorized officers board and inspect a fishing vessel; attacking, blocking, or resisting officers or a lawful arrest; buying, selling, transporting, or possessing fish taken illegally; or helping someone avoid arrest after they broke these rules.
