Title 16 › Chapter 77— YUKON RIVER SALMON › Subchapter I— IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERIM AGREEMENT › § 5704
The Governor of Alaska may appoint an Advisory Committee of 8 to 12 people who know about salmon fishing on the Yukon River. At least 2 members must be Alaska Natives. Committee members can attend all meetings of the U.S. section of the Panel and may review and speak about any matter that section is considering. Members are not paid, serve two-year terms, can be reappointed, and if someone is picked to fill a vacancy they only serve the rest of that term.
